Wenn man in Deutschland fragt, welchen Schweizer Künstler man kennt, fällt ein Name besonders oft: Pronto.
Nach seiner Close Circle Tour und einem extrem produktiven letzten Jahr – mit eigenem Album, einer EP mit Ataypapi sowie zahlreichen Feature-Parts – und seiner jährlichen Hometown-Show, die jeweils zu den Highlights zählt und bei der er regelmässig grosse Namen der Schweizer Rapszene als Gäste auf die Bühne holt, zeigt er einmal mehr, wie vielseitig und konstant er arbeitet.
Im Februar meldet er sich direkt mit dem nächsten Projekt zurück: dem Album Burn the Boat. Mit dabei sind unter anderem Features von Paxslim, Slimka sowie dem deutschen Artist Kelvyn Colt – inklusive passendem Merch zur Ära.
Soundtechnisch geht er dabei wieder in eine Richtung, die an den Pronto von 2017 erinnert – roh, direkt und unverkennbar, und dennoch mit einem neuen, ganz eigenen Soundbild, das er kreiert. Was man dabei nicht vergessen darf: Pronto produziert einen Grossteil seiner Musik selbst – auch wenn er diesen Teil seiner Arbeit kaum nach aussen trägt.
Er bleibt einer der wohl mysteriösesten Künstler: keine regelmässigen Posts, kein übertriebenes Promoten – einfach Releases. Die Musik spricht für sich.

If you ask in Germany which Swiss artist people know, one name comes up particularly often: Pronto.
After his Close Circle Tour and an extremely productive year – including a full-length album, an EP with Ataypapi, and numerous feature appearances – as well as his annual hometown show, which is always one of the highlights and regularly brings major names from the Swiss rap scene on stage as guests, he once again proves how versatile and consistent his output is.
In February, he returns with his next project: the album Burn the Boat. It includes features from Paxslim, Slimka, and German artist Kelvyn Colt – along with matching merch for the era.
Sonically, he leans back into a direction reminiscent of Pronto in 2017 – raw, direct, and unmistakable, yet with a fresh and fully self-defined sound. One important detail often overlooked: Pronto produces a large part of his music himself, even if he rarely highlights that side of his work.
At the same time, he remains one of the most mysterious artists in the scene: no regular posts, no overhyped promotion – just releases. The music speaks for itself.
