About

Vision

re:Q is a curated platform and living annual report of Switzerlands creative and cultural landscape. Instead of a single yearly publication, it unfolds in quarterly cycles (Q1Q4), capturing the people, projects, and ideas shaping the scene in real time.

Every three months, new features are released across Music, Culture & Events, Fashion,

Dance, and Visuals. These contributions go beyond traditional news, offering context-driven perspectives on what defines each moment. Built in collaboration with contributors from across Switzerland, re:Q reflects the countrys linguistic and cultural diversity, guided by curators who are themselves part of the scene.

Each category includes one Highlight feature, expanded through a specially produced video to create a more immersive experience.

re:Q focuses on three key aims: documenting significant cultural developments, increasing visibility for creatives and institutions, and strengthening the international, economic, and social relevance of the Swiss creative scene.

In essence, re:Q is a quarterly cultural report a concise, evolving snapshot of a diverse and connected creative landscape.

Team

Curators

For each thematic area or category of the platform, there is a dedicated person responsible who comes directly from that field.

These section leads handle:

Curating the content of their area
Selecting the most relevant projects, people, and topics
Creating the quarterly section report

They serve as the interface between the scene and the platform, bringing in their own networks, expertise, and perspectives.

The team consists of individuals who:

Are actively working within the industry
Have already led relevant projects, received awards, or gained international experience
Possess a strong portfolio and editorial credibility

This ensures that the platform does not report on the scene from the outside, but grows organically from within the scene itself.

Focus: Young Swiss creative sector

The primary target group consists of young creatives in Switzerland, particularly:

Emerging talents
Up-and-coming studios & collectives
Experimental projects
Interdisciplinary work

Many of these actors remain largely invisible in existing formats, media, or award ceremonies, even though they significantly shape the current and future Swiss creative landscape.

The platform positions itself not only as a media channel but also as a form of recognition for this work while simultaneously providing motivation

G

Goal

Representation

A central concern of the platform is the conscious representation of groups that have  been underrepresented in the Swiss mainstream media. The platform reflects not only  the most successful but the real diversity of the Swiss creative scene.

The goal is not activist labeling, but the natural visibility of diverse voices, aesthetics,  and life experiences as an integral part of contemporary cultural production in  Switzerland.
