Besonders viel Aufmerksamkeit bekam ihre Single „You Believe in Jesus, I Believe in Pussy“.

Between Pop, Provocation and Artistic Freedom
Milune is making waves in 2026: following a successful festival summer with performances at Pride and Stars in Town, among others, the 22-year-old singer played her first headline shows in the autumn. Zurich’s Exil sold out, followed by a show in London. She had to cancel her planned Paris show for health reasons.
Her single “You Believe in Jesus, I Believe in Pussy” attracted particular attention. For Milune, however, the provocative title is not an attack on religion, but a statement of queer freedom, female self-determination and her own spirituality.
She went a step further with the music video: together with her girlfriend Nea Jankovic, she filmed intimate scenes in a Catholic church in Regensburg—apparently without the necessary permission. The church distanced itself from the video, and legal action was considered. Milune’s management removed the clip as a precaution.
Whether the resulting media outcry was planned remains unclear. What is certain is that the song has raised Milune’s profile—and shown that she is unafraid to push boundaries with her art. Or cross them?
