Die Stimme hinter dem Sound.
Bei Julia Alexa weiss man gar nicht, wo man anfangen soll. Die 22-jährige Künstlerin aus Zug/Zürich ist Sängerin, Songwriterin und Produzentin – und gehört gleichzeitig zu den wohl spannendsten Schweizer Namen, wenn es um moderne, emotionale Pop- und Alternative-Sounds geht.
Seit rund drei Jahren veröffentlicht Julia eigene Musik. Was einst mit YouTube-Covern begann, hat sich zu einer beeindruckenden Karriere entwickelt: über 40 Millionen Spotify-Streams, bereits 2022 rund eine halbe Million monatliche Hörer*innen und mit „Hold Me“ ein Song, der inzwischen mehr als acht Millionen Streams gesammelt hat.
Doch Julias eigene Releases erzählen nur einen Teil der Geschichte. Denn sie ist längst auch hinter den Kulissen aktiv. Ihre Song-Credits lesen sich wie die Wunschliste vieler Produzentinnen: Sie hat unter anderem an „Only Way“ mit Young Thug und Skrilla mitgewirkt, war an „Zwilling“ von Souly beteiligt und ist auf „Blades“ von Ufo361 zu hören. Dabei kreiert sie mit ihrer eigenen Stimme engelhafte Vocal-Samples, die sie in ihre Produktionen integriert, und produziert Songs sowohl für andere Künstlerinnen als auch für sich selbst.
Musikalisch bewegt sie sich zwischen Sad Pop, Alternative und verträumten elektronischen Sounds. Ihre Stimme, melancholischen Texte und atmosphärischen Produktionen erinnern an Künstlerinnen wie Billie Eilish, Tate McRae oder Gracie Abrams – und trotzdem entwickelt Julia daraus ihren ganz eigenen Sound.
Und auch 2026 steht bei ihr nicht still: Julia veröffentlicht regelmässig neue Musik und bringt ihre Songs in diesem Jahr auch auf Europatour.
Julia Alexa ist damit längst mehr als eine Sängerin. Sie schreibt, produziert, singt und baut ihre eigene Klangwelt – und ist dabei vielleicht eine der spannendsten Schweizer Künstlerinnen, die man noch nicht genug auf dem Radar hat.

The Voice Behind the Sound
With Julia Alexa, it is hard to know where to begin. The 22-year-old artist from Zug/Zurich is a singer, songwriter and producer—and arguably one of Switzerland’s most exciting names in modern, emotionally driven pop and alternative music.
Julia has been releasing her own music for around three years. What began with YouTube covers has grown into an impressive career: over 40 million Spotify streams, around half a million monthly listeners as early as 2022, and a track, “Hold Me,” that has now surpassed eight million streams.
But Julia’s own releases tell only part of the story. She has also been working behind the scenes for some time. Her songwriting and production credits read like many producers’ wish lists: she contributed to “Only Way” with Young Thug and Skrilla, worked on Souly’s “Zwilling” and can be heard on Ufo361’s “Blades.” Using her own voice, she creates angelic vocal samples that she incorporates into her productions, producing songs for other artists as well as herself.
Musically, she moves between sad pop, alternative and dreamy electronic sounds. Her voice, melancholic lyrics and atmospheric productions recall artists such as Billie Eilish, Tate McRae and Gracie Abrams—yet Julia is shaping a sound distinctly her own.
And she is keeping busy in 2026: Julia continues to release new music regularly and is taking her songs on a European tour this year.
