JULE X

JULE X

English

It was 10 PM at Openair Gampel, and one thing was already clear in front of Jule X’s stage: nobody was there by accident. The crowd was out in full force, everyone knew the lyrics, and the energy was high. And everywhere you looked, there was leopard print.

That summer, Jule X was one of Switzerland’s most successful live acts. No matter the festival, no matter the time slot, his audience showed up. The photos and videos from his shows spoke for themselves. Few other Swiss acts managed to bring that level of energy to a festival stage.

And yet, people still debate whether Jule X even makes rap. But honestly, who gives a fuck? While some are still trying to put him in a musical box, the numbers, awards and, above all, his live shows speak for themselves.

Together with artists Anru and Astro Burger and the Vokuhila Mafia, Jule X has built a setup that goes far beyond a traditional live show. It’s not just about music — it’s about community. The Vokuhila Mafia has long been more than just a name. You could almost call it a lifestyle.

Recently, he also announced his debut album “Project X,” which will be released on vinyl too. And, of course, the album comes with cover art that people are going to talk about: Jule X completely naked on a lawn. The main attraction? Let’s just say his backside seems to be just as well-trained as his stage presence. See for yourselves.

Together with Swiss producer Mondetto, Jule X has developed his own unmistakable sound and a distinctive musical identity across his previous releases and upcoming project.

Maybe that’s exactly the secret to his success: he doesn’t try to cater to a scene. He’s created one of his own.
