Wer in der Schweiz das Privileg hat, abstimmen und wählen zu gehen, sollte dies auch nutzen. Nur bedeutet dieses Privileg nicht gleich, dass der Zugang zu politischer Bildung und Informationen für alle gleich zugänglich ist. Dies führt dazu, dass sich viele nicht genug informiert fühlen – und entsprechend ihre Stimme nicht einsetzen wollen. Das Café Revolution möchte dies mit ihrem neuen Format «Café Lab» ändern.
Es soll einen Safe Space schaffen, in dem Menschen sich informieren und mitreden können. Auf Augenhöhe und ohne Judgment. Der Raum ist auch offen für alle, die das Stimmrecht (noch) nicht haben und trotzdem in den Diskurs gehen wollen – denn Politik geht uns alle an, und jeder Mensch hat das Recht, gehört zu werden und mitzusprechen.

Those who have the privilege to vote and participate in elections in Switzerland should make use of it. However, having that privilege does not automatically mean that access to political education and information is equally available to everyone. As a result, many people do not feel informed enough — and therefore choose not to use their voice.
Café Revolution wants to change this with its new format, “Café Lab.” The goal is to create a safe space where people can get informed and join the conversation — on equal footing and without judgment. The space is also open to those who do not (yet) have the right to vote but still want to take part in political discourse, because politics concerns all of us, and everyone deserves the right to be heard and have a say.
