„Your girls’ favorite night out“ – so nennt sich 079 selbst. Seit drei Jahren gehört die Partyreihe zur Zürcher Nachtwelt und hat dabei ein ziemlich klares Bild geschaffen: gute Musik, volle Nächte, Community – und auffallend viele schöne Frauen.
Bei 079ME stellt sich deshalb fast schon die Frage: Sind hier die schönsten Frauen Zürichs unterwegs? Vielleicht sogar der ganzen Schweiz? Zumindest gehört genau diese Ästhetik seit Beginn zum Auftritt der Partyreihe. Zuletzt wurde das auch vom internationalen Creator Shot by Faces festgehalten, der die Stimmung und die Menschen rund um 079ME eingefangen hat. Doch 079ME war nie nur eine Party.
Besonders in Erinnerung dürfte die Alternative zur Street Parade bleiben. Statt sich einfach in die Massen entlang der üblichen Route einzureihen, wurde die Party kurzerhand auf die Strasse gebracht. Eine Blockparty. Menschen standen und tanzten mitten auf der Strasse. Vom Ausmass her erinnerte das Ganze beinahe an die Fête de la Musique in Paris. Und jetzt soll genau das vorbei sein?
Vor Kurzem wurde das Ende der Partyreihe angekündigt – doch Entwarnung: 079ME ist noch lange nicht vorbei. Die vermeintliche Abschiedsmeldung entpuppte sich als Promo-Move für das dreijährige Jubiläum des Party-Labels. Statt Goodbye hiess es also: nächste Runde.
Gefeiert wurde im Moods in Zürich, einer neuen Location. Der Abend wurde zum Erfolg und zeigte einmal mehr, dass die Community hinter 079ME noch lange nicht genug hat. Drei Jahre voller Musik, Begegnungen und unvergesslicher Nächte sind offenbar erst der Anfang.

“Your girls’ favourite night out” – that’s how 079 describes itself. For the past three years, the party series has been part of Zurich’s nightlife, building a pretty clear identity: good music, late nights, community – and a striking number of beautiful women.
At 079ME, it almost begs the question: Is this where Zurich’s most beautiful women hang out? Maybe even the whole of Switzerland? At the very least, this aesthetic has been part of the party series’ identity from the beginning. Most recently, international creator Shot by Faces captured this very vibe, documenting the atmosphere and the people surrounding 079ME. But 079ME has never been just about partying.
One moment that is likely to stick in people’s minds is the alternative to Street Parade. Instead of simply joining the crowds along the usual route, the party was taken straight to the streets. A block party where people danced, celebrated and turned public space into a dancefloor for one night. People gathered and danced right in the middle of the street. In terms of scale, the whole thing almost brought the Fête de la Musique in Paris to mind. And now, is all of that supposed to be over?
Recently, the end of the party series was announced – but here’s the good news: 079ME is far from over. The supposed farewell turned out to be a promotional move for the party label’s third anniversary. So instead of goodbye, it was time for the next round.
The anniversary was celebrated at Moods in Zurich, a new venue for the party series. The night was a success, proving once again that the community behind 079ME is nowhere near ready to call it a night. Three years of music, connections and unforgettable nights are apparently just the beginning.
